Ultimate Kami is made by [DEVELOPER NAME] ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Ultimate Kami app for iPhone and this website.

The short version

Ultimate Kami doesn't collect any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone. There's no account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app never connects to the internet.

What the app keeps, and where

Everything you put into the app is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage:

• your foods, recipes, exercises, sessions and nutritional goals
• your log: what you've eaten, your weigh-ins, steps, calories burned, sessions and sets
• your settings, such as units and language

None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. We can't see it, and we don't have a copy of it.

The app's widgets show the stopwatch and today's totals. To do that, the app shares those figures with its widgets on your phone. They never leave the phone either.

Apple Health

If you ask the app to fill in a day's steps or calories burned from Apple Health, it asks for your permission the first time. With it, the app reads only those two things, your step count and active calories for that day, and fills them in on your log. It never writes anything to Apple Health, and it doesn't read anything else.

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and it's never shared with anyone. You can stop the app reading it at any time in the Settings app, under Health > Data Access & Devices.

Backups and exports

• iPhone backups. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, your app data is included, as it is for any app. Those backups are handled by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy.
• Exports. You can export all of your data as CSV files from the Data tab. The app makes the file and hands it to the share sheet; where it goes from there is up to you.

Deleting your data

To delete everything, use Delete all data on the Data tab. Deleting the app also deletes all of its data from your phone. Neither touches an export you've already saved or an existing iPhone backup.

Buying the app

Ultimate Kami is a one-time purchase on the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we don't receive your name, email address or payment details.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address when a page loads. Cloudflare's and Google's own privacy policies cover how they handle it.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
